Using a special stationary exercise bicycle with a weighted flywheel in a classroom setting, indoor cycling classes focus on endurance, strength, intervals, high intensity and recovery.
Zumba involves dance and aerobic elements, incorporating many elements of hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue, mambo, martial arts, and some Bollywood and belly dance moves.
Also considered core conditioning, body sculpting is a non-aerobic, muscle-toning class, usually focused on core strength. Classes use weight bars, exercise bands, dumbbells, or a combination of this equipment.
