Q: Where do I begin if I have never exercised before?

A: You came to the right place! First, starting out with a basic tour of the facility with one of our knowledgeable staff members is extremely helpful. From there you can decide if more personalized options like private training or small group sessions would be the way to go. You will never be alone here, there are always people to assist you and answer any questions you may have.

Q: What equipment do you have?

A: We have top of the line Life Fitness, Pro-Maxima, and Hammer Strength equipment. Treadmills, ellipticals, and bikes all have personal entertainment systems; two large racks of dumbbells up to 100 pounds, a full line of circuit pieces, spin bikes, adjustable benches, squat rack, smith machine, bands, kettlebells, gliding discs, and much more!

Q: What classes should I take to lose weight?

A: This is always the million dollar question. While there is no miracle exercise or class that will instantly peel the weight off (diet is 80% of the equation!), a lot of our classes are designed to create a metabolic spike and help people lose body fat while keeping lean, healthy muscle. High fat burn classes like HIIT, Strength & Cardio Intervals, and Metabolic are all great choices.

Q: Do you have drop in rates?

A: Absolutely! Only in town for a few days? We have you covered. Our daily rate is $15, weekend rate (Friday-Sunday) is $35 and our week pass is $40.

Q: Does DCF run membership specials?

A: All the time! Subscribe to our email list and you will receive special discounted options throughout the year. Also, follow us on Facebook & Twitter for weekly specials!

Q: Do you have personal trainers available?

A: Yes, at DCF we have both male and female trainers available. No matter what your health & fitness goals are, our trainers can guide you and give you the necessary tools to succeed. We have both private & group personal training options. Call or email us for more details. When signing up for a personal training package, you receive a FREE fitness assessment.

Q: What is the best membership option for a family? What about second homeowners and seasonal locals?

A: DCF offers the best deal around for any family, household, full-time, or seasonal homeowner. It’s called our Unlimited Household Membership. This membership is ideal for any size family or household with 2+ people. There is no limit on the number of family members! It’s only $400 per year and includes unlimited use of the facility. For example, if you are a family of four, that’s only $100/person. If you own a vacation home that gets rented out… guess what? Your guests get to use the gym as well! This can be a great investment for an added amenity. Most people who vacation here at Deep Creek Lake have a regular gym routine and want to keep up with it while they’re here. They will book your house over someone else’s if it comes with a FREE gym membership!

Q: What are your Hours?

A: Our REGULAR HOURS are: Monday-Friday 7am-1pm & 4-8pm, Saturday 8am-5pm, and Sunday 8am-noon. Our SUMMER HOURS (June 15th – Labor Day) are: Monday-Friday 7am-8pm and Saturday & Sunday 8am-5pm.

Q: Is there a 24 hour access option?

                A: We do not have 24 hour access but we DO have an Extended Access option which runs from 5am-11pm every day of the week (even on Holidays when we’re closed!). This can be added to any membership that is 3 months or more in length and it averages out to an extra $10 per month.
